Louder than stock, but way more quiet than the TSE. The TSE I listened to seemed to drone a lot around 2500RPM (+/- 500). The AAG3 doesn't drone at all, which is nice. -Taner -- Taner Halicioglu <taner@e36m3.org> 1997 Cosmos Black BMW M3/4 2000 Santorin Blue Audi S4 On Wed, Jun 02, 2004 at 04:11:51PM -0500, Hunt Hodgetts <hhodgetts@yahoo.com> wrote: > Date: Wed, 2 Jun 2004 14:09:48 -0700 (PDT) > From: Hunt Hodgetts <hhodgetts@yahoo.com> > Subject: exhaust problem > > I recently added a UUC Twin Silencer exhaust to my 97 M3 Coupe. But the stress on the swaybar depends on the springs used. If you are using them as a crutch for a soft suspension, reinforce the mounts. If you have stiffer springs in the car (500#+), I think they may not be needed. I broke a lot of stuff on my WC car last year and had to reinforce several areas due to cracking on less than a year's use on a virgin shell, but never had an issue with the stock bar mount areas. Just my 2cents... by the time you find everything, you can send it away for repair and have it back and installed, plus it will have the updated programming performed if it doesn't have it already. #11. [E36M3] Engine driven fan removal for improved performance? - from Colin_S_Whelan@rrfc.raytheon.com

Date: Thu, 3 Jun 2004 12:15:07 -0400 From: Colin_S_Whelan@rrfc.raytheon.com Subject: [E36M3] Engine driven fan removal for improved performance? Group, I was wondering how many of us are driving around without the belt driven fan. Is the improved engine response worth it? Anyone do a dyno run? If so, did you 1) change the thermostat to 80C and/or 2) switch to a 80/88C fan switch? I'm thinking of pulling it and swapping in the fan switch only. Any advice? Thanks, Colin '98 M3 (Dinan Stage 1, RD sways, Conforti...)
