Hmmm .. didn't work for me on my '95 LWT. With the front right wheel off the ground, turned it with i) the engine running, ii) the engine off, with the key in the run position, and iii) the engine off, with the key in the run position, and the brake pedal depressed just slightly, enough to turn the brake lights on. No ABS pump action in any of the three scenarios ... YMMV, -- ______________________________________ Andrew E. Kalman, Ph.D. aek@pumpkininc.com

#2. SAE Oil Specification - from Steve Tymoszuk

I seem to remember seeing a list of oils that meet/exceed the factory spec and can't find it after an hour. I'm not looking to debate "which oil is better" thread, I would like to know which brands of oil meet/exceed factory specs. Thanks, Steve '99 M3

Date: Sun, 22 Aug 2004 20:07:15 -0700 (PDT) From: Jason Knight <knight2244@yahoo.com> Subject: Bilstein shocks and struts: results of ride height question I had posted previously looking for opinions on Bilstein versus Koni aftermarket shocks / struts, seeking slightly more aggressive pieces that would not affect ride height (stock ride height being the most important factor). There were various opinions, below are the results from my car. I measured the distance from the center of each wheel to the center of the fender lip prior to changing the struts and shocks and after changing them. Here are the numerical before and after results: B A LF 13.5 14 RF Here's a before pic: http://www.z28racergirl.com/images/m3suspension/before.jpg H
