Reasonably priced compared to the coil-over kits. They have a great feel and predictable on how the car handles in certain situations. #2. Track Wheels? - from Stan.Shaw@Excell.Net

Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2004 17:03:33 -0400 From: <Stan.Shaw@Excell.Net> Subject: Track Wheels? Anyone looking to sell a set of track wheels for a '96 M3? I rarely track the car as I have a dedicated track car, but I would like to do so more in the future... I would definitely want 8.5" width at all four corners. Oh yeah, and I am ridiculously cheap.... so perhaps only cosmetically challenged wheels should apply... I bought the drivers side from the dealer and installed about a month ago. $180 was right on target. The fitment was fine but had to adjust the strike plate slightly so I didn't have to shut the door harder than normal. It settles down after about a month. Shel

Carlos, As you stated, bearings are not allowed as per the CR rules. I have designed and had machined delrin bushings for the upper and lower inner control arms. They are CR legal and I have had them in the race car for over two years with no problems and zero wear. i have thought about selling them, but the machining costs are quite high and don't think that they would be feasible.....and as James said....most people just put in spherical bearings because they either don't know any better (poor excuse) or don't care about breaking the rules. - Chris PS. I would have to sell the bushings for $150-$175 a pair depending on how many I have made. I've had this setup for two weeks now and have noticed that over rough pavement it is much less harsh. We have a lot of concrete roads and very few actual tarmac due to maintenance costs with the heat (I assume), and the expansion joints can be rough. Of course this lack of harshness could be due to the new shocks alone after 45K miles on the stock ones. Konis should be good with either H&R or Eibach. Chuck Brazeau 1995 BMW M3 - Violet on Black SCCA Solo2 - Street Modified #95 http://www.brazeauracing.com/

Best I've seen/used is the AC Jack from ulitmategarage.com. -----Original Message----- From: jason [mailto:jason@doomba.com] Sent: Monday, August 30, 2004 12:03 AM To: E36M3 Subject: Re: [E36M3] [OT] New Jack from Sears Date: 29 Aug 2004 21:06:40 -0700 From: jason <jason@doomba.com> Subject: Re: [E36M3] [OT] New Jack from Sears dunno if this has been mentioned. dropped by costco in san mateo today and they have 2 ton jacks for $120. weighs ~ 50 lbs. looked like it is really good for getting under lowered cars. ************************************************* Please help support the E36M3 list by visiting our sponsors: Bimmerworld http://www.bimmerworld.com Turner Motorsport http://www.turnermotorsport.com Eurosport High Performance http://www.eurosporthighperformance.com Rogue Engineering http://www.rogueengineering.com DIGEST INFORMATION: http://www.bmw-m.net/resources/digest_info.htm *************************************************
