They do not, will not, never have switched by themselves.

#5. Use of T-Hooks or Tie-Down Straps - from Ron Buchalski
Top
Date: Thu, 14 Oct 2004 11:32:52 -0400 From: "Ron Buchalski" <rbuchals@hotmail.com> Subject: Use of T-Hooks or Tie-Down Straps If an E36 is going to be transported on a car carrier, will the driver generally have tie-down chains with a T-hook on them, or should the E36 owner have a set of T-hooks available for use? Also, what about those tie-down straps that go over the tires: http://tinyurl.com/5xcpo I notice that it says maximum tread width is 9", so a 235mm tire (9.25") may be too wide for these. So, which one (T-hook or tie-down strap) is better to use when an E36 is transported for a long distance on a transporter? Thanks, Ron

Normal auto stores around me can't even get them. Any suggestions? Also would anyone know why NGKs website lists a DCPR7EIX part number for my car? It's not even the correct thread diameter (we need 14mm right?) and it's maybe a little too cold. TIA, Jeff

Date: Thu, 14 Oct 2004 11:25:17 -0700 (PDT) From: Jeff Kumler <jdkumler@yahoo.com> Subject: NGK Update. Just wanted to update my previous post regarding a NGK source. I know about clubplug.net (Canadian company) and sparkplugs.com or glowplugs.com (CA company), I was looking for a company that someone has done business with or supports the BMW community more. Or if anyone has used either of the 2 mentioned companies without any issues. Thanks again. Jeff
