Unfortunately they found an oil leak at the same time, and we both assumed that the problem was mostly solved until past warranty :-( ... Doug From: m3rb@comcast.net Subject: Re: [E36M3] It's a good thing they make such great cars ... Did I understand correctly that it is documented that you first complained about the problem before the warranty expired? If so, why is it posed as a matter of "request for goodwill assistance", rather than a demand that proper warranty coverage be provided?

#3. broken radiator neck claims another E36 M3.... - from Bruce

Date: Mon, 20 Dec 2004 20:28:40 -0600 From: "Bruce" <gobuffs93@comcast.net> Subject: broken radiator neck claims another E36 M3.... My radiator neck broke tonight on my commute home. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it- as I could have installed the Euro 3.2 I have) I don't think I did any damage. I have owned it since 59k miles...now has just over 91k. The P.O. replaced the radiator before I bought it. I never looked at the mileage it was done until now...nearly 44k miles. I guess I was due. Bruce

I can buy 3 (at Zionsville prices) or 4 (at Fluidyne prices) stock radiators. For a daily driver this is a no brainer IMO....just becomes a scheduled replacement item at 40k miles. For the track/race car- probably a no brainer I will get an aluminum one. #7. FS: JT Design Front Strut brace - from Mdriver13@aol.com

Date: Mon, 20 Dec 2004 22:24:31 EST From: Mdriver13@aol.com Subject: FS: JT Design Front Strut brace Group, Here is the perfect "bling" gift for Christmas. I'm parting with my JT Design brace because I'm using the Dinan brace in the rear and I decided I want to have matching blings. I just purchased a used Dinan front brace, so I'm parting with this trusted friend. This brace is in very good condition and the end mounts were custom finished in carbon fiber by Jim Mihal himself. On top of the cf I mounted original ///M logos for the finishing touch. Before I sell on ebay, I'm offering to the Group first. New, this bar sells for $559, asking $300 plus shipping. Pix on request. Bob Gill - 97 M3 coupe SCCA - Philly Region

The fit and fnish look great and they have a set offered for audiophiles as well. Their service was excellent and the items were shipped as promised. Rogue does not have them in stock and their service was lacking IMO. Shel Hart

Unlike lots of aftermarket strut braces which are hinged (and therefore only marginally effective), this one is the real deal. And it looks killer, too. It's a steal at $300. - Mark, has one on the race car ----- mark@pdc-racing.net Check out my JustRacing Home Page at: http://www.justracing.com/homepage/mdadgar

The MAShaw front bumper set up looks good (E46 style) since you'll most likely need to replace. Evosport has the pulleys in stock and on sale. Shel Hart 98 M3 02 996
