I received notice of a friend of mine in CA is selling his race car. This is THE car to buy if you want to win in the American Iron Series (a regional series in the SCCA). Guy's car is fast, well sorted and done right. See the ad for the car here: http://www.norcal-saac.org/listings/carpart.htm#CARS If you have ever thought of running a season in the SCCA for points and you want to win out of the box, here's your chance. This car is faster than my M3 (obligatory M3 content). Mel

As far as I know this includes earlier 1995 model year cars. Still a worthwhile upgrade if you like nice, easy-to-use CD players that look good in the interior. > -------------------- 2 -------------------- > Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2005 13:06:05 -0500 > From: Patrick Goss - PA <Patrick_Goss@GMACM.COM> > Subject: RE: [E36M3] Switching to CD43 Head Unit? > > The CD43 is indeed plug and play and has the ibus for CD changer control. Not sure what class. Guy's car is a well prepared car, and probably has the most wins of any American Iron car. I'm sure that Griggs maintained it quite well, but it's still had a lot of hard miles put on it. I'm not sure it's "worth" $30k. But of course race cars are never worth what much. My wife runs a Camaro in AI West, and is strongly anti-Ford. Whenever #40 comes up I like to toy with the idea of buying it just to get her a little riled up. It works. Question now is, does anyone have one they're trying to sell??? ;) I just got outbid on Ebay, and the list price is a bit on the high side. If anyone has one for sale, or knows of a good source, let me know. Jonathan L.

I've just done this myself and some of the menu load times are snappier and it recognizes discs more quickly than it has been. Especially DVDs. Using a loupe, I was astonished at the coating of dust particles on the lens. Enjoy your drives, Steve On Mar 16, 2005, at 3:50 PM, E36M3 wrote: > Re: Road racing games >

If any of you have never heard of Websense, this is the sort of evil that I must deal with on a daily basis: Access to this web page is restricted at this time. If you feel the page is being inadvertantly blocked, please call the Help Desk at 1-866-555-1212. Reason: The Websense category "Games" is filtered. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- URL: http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi/eventsfeaturesIMPORTPS2cleaning.htm This 'Web Content filtering and bandwidth management' software is just plain evil. While I need not get into a discussion about what web content is appropriate at work, some filtering is advisable for litigious reasons while filtering of other content is purely Draconian. "Get back to work and quit playing around with those 'insert noun' websites". Plus, they misspelled 'inadvertently'. Morons. You see, I work with monkeys! Okay, I feel better now that I've vented.
