Gang, I'm looking for a place to possibly purchase a fender rolling tool, such as the unit that TireRack can occasionally rent out. IE, bolts to the wheel hub, and basically a skateboard / inline skate wheel for rolling the inner fender lip. Being in Canada, however, renting one from Tirerack isn't an option, so I'd like to look at purchasing one directly, new or used. Any ideas on a source to find such a beast? Where might I find it? The bleed valve is on the clutch slave cylinder which is attached to the outside of the transmission bellhousing, same as on your P-car. -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

Bleed it in short bursts - the supply line from the reservoir is near the top, so it's easy to introduce air into the system quickly (BTDT). Sounds like you're a fairly competent DIY-er? Might I suggest a Bentley Manual? Pretty much the best resouce out there (short of this list, of course :-)). Money well spent, especially if you plan to do a lot of your own maintenance. My 2 cents, Jim Bassett - uses Bentley manual frequently 1998 M3/4 1993 325is #44 JP

They indicated my cats were clogged and the car was running rich. Dealer wanted me to buy a new 2000 dollar replacement just out of warranty. Ouch. Since then, the CEL has been on only once. I believe its 8 startups before the CEL will reset. I will probably replace or clean my o2 sensors for good measure and keep an eye on the light. -Toda
