A few people can put down really fast data for the team to share, but a lot of people have the skill to follow someone else's data when they see it. You could tell there must have been a lack of talent in some of the Porsche race drivers as you could hear them slowing the car down with the engine into t7 (end of back straight) instead of the brakes and their throttle blips were done way too early. On the other hand you could watch/listen the PTG guys in the same corner and it was as if the same person was driving both cars. I would've said the same observing Turner and Auberlen in that same corner during the WC race a couple of years ago. I noticed you guys (Bimmerworld) also run nose to tail these days as well. I've sort of always assumed that this is due to the data systems and team drivers sharing speed secrets with one another. I also assumed the opposite when it comes to the racers that I noticed overslowing their cars, shifting too early, etc, they either didn't have data systems or else lacked a top driver to use as a reference. Good stuff, now I need to find a pile of cash somewhere so I can purchase one for myself. :-) Carlos.

Suspension Tuning, although the std M3 has moved over to this tuning. I talked to a club instructor that owns an M3 Competition Pkg, and he said it's the perfect street/track compromise. 2. Larger Brakes 3. Quicker Steering 4. 19" Wheels with different styling 5. DSC mode allows more aggresive behavior before taking the fun away.

The link you provided takes me to a radiator for what appears to be a 1997 - 2000 Z car, which would be the radiator that fits the E36 M3 correct?. http://www.zionsvilleautosport.com/store/shop.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code= 6134&Product_Code=NP-ALLOYRADZ3&Category_Code=AR1 Absolute still lists a 55mm core radiator w/fitment issues on their site in addition to the revised PWR offering and the Fluidyne unit. So that makes for six available alloy construction radiators that I'm aware of for the E36. Prices below were 'list' as of about 2 months ago. Fluidyne (38mm core @ $543) PWR (40mm core @ $455) PWR (55mm core @ $455 w/fitment issues) are available through http://www.absoluteradiator.com Zionsville standard configuration @ $459 Zionsville with a BMW Euro factory style oil cooler set up @ $1339 are available through http://www.zionsvilleautosport.com I know the Zionsville, PWR and Fluidyne's are not triple pass. Howe 60mm core, triple pass @ $429 for the FI crowd are available through www.howeracing.com Also, Spearco has produced an E36 radiator, this thing is a monster. It is not multiple pass though. The construction of the Spearco units use the more efficient, and stronger BAR and PLATE cores as oppose to the tube and fin cores used by others. These units also uses the same core design used in all their Intercoolers. I'm not sure this is a production unit or if it was a one-off for a FI application. However drilling down further into the Z'ville web site I see that this is for the MY2000 and earlier Z/M Coupe, meaning it's NOT the one that also fits the regular E36 (the 2001+ S54 part). In fact this seems simply to be the Coupe counterpart to their normal E36 radiator. My apologies for the confusion, and thanks to Bruce H for pointing out my error. > I have a PWR that's no longer offered in this form due to multiple > fitment issues. Here's a link to the current "thin" 40mm (i.e. normal thickness) PWR rad: http://www.absoluteradiator.com/ProductPage.asp?idProd=53 However a Google search brought up this page: http://www.pwr-performance.com/bmw.htm which also shows the 57mm "thick" version that I have. Have they fixed the fitment issues? I don't know. However it is in any case possible to work around them if you want the high capacity rad. Too many choices...? - Neil

Sway bar links only if the rubber boots around the swivel joints are cracked/broken. Tie rod ends only if there's play in them. IMO :-) > 4. This will result in an unbled pedal being pulled to the floor after a threshold in travel is reached. Now the fun one is being under the car and using a kludge setup to bleed the slave. Your buddy pumps the clutch 2 times in a row when the clamp slips and you end up covered in ATE SuperBlue. Of course the slave was reassembled and (knock on wood) all has been well since.
