It's a two piece wheel that Discount Tire Direct was closing out. I paid $155 per wheel for a real good wheel. Not being stupid, I bought a spare. It was cheaper to buy a spare than to think what repairing a bent wheel will cost. The std. size was 7.5" wide on front, 8.5" wide on the rear. To my way of thinking, it's all in the offset...so what are they? Again, e36M3 wheels are 40mm (or 41mm) offset. #6. Window Tint - from Jeremy Conners
Top
Date: Mon, 2 May 2005 18:23:22 -0400 From: "Jeremy Conners" <jeremy.conners@comcast.net> Subject: Window Tint I was on the receiving end of an "Inconvenience Ticket" for window tint on the way home this afternoon. I recall having seen a letter that someone had posted on the internet about having sensitive eyes, etc. signed by their optometrist. This allowed an exemption from the tint law. This can be applied retro effectively in my case to eliminate the ticket. Does anyone know where I can find an example letter of this sort? Thanks in advance, Jeremy

#9. RE: Seized right Front Caliper, need advice - from Paul Smith

Date: Mon, 2 May 2005 18:08:14 -0500 From: Paul Smith <Paul.Smith@ontariosystems.com> Subject: RE: Seized right Front Caliper, need advice I had the same issue with my pass front. I would suggest a slow ride to Vaughn - if you are not too far away. You should be able to tell if it is good enough to get you there. If not, take the caliper to them and have them rebuild it (or better yet, do it yourself.) It is a good learning experience. If you want a quicker fix, buy a used one from Zionsville (down the road from Vaughn) then rebuild when you have time. Rick Vaughn and the Lorenzo brothers are talented people. They rebuilt my engine after the money shift and did a great job! Good luck Paul Smith 98 M3/4/5 with a rebuilt set of calipers in the garage. (Muncie, Indiana) Let me know if you need a used one until you rebuild, if needed. Can I limp the car 30 mi to the shop, or should a have it flatbedded to the shop? Also, the car is in Indy, so my choices are Ress Motorworks or Vaughn Motowerks. Thanks, Kevin McLeaster 95' M3
