This time I was getting off scratches and scrapes done by someone prying/cutting/hacking off balance weights. >OK, after some searching, here you go: > >http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/wheel-repair/wheel-scuff-repair.htm ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Good one - but I wonder about the problem he had with the clear lifting the silver. I have done the clear within minutes of doing the silver and never had a problem (did on Sunday in fact - dinner was waiting..) The silver dries VERY fast if not put on too thickly. You only need to cover what you're painting, more isn't better here. Less is better and less prone to damage. I still have some curb-rash to work on (and made some more last night dammit..) so I'll be using some more of my Wurth paint. FWIW - even doing just partial touchups of the stock wheels using the Wurth, you can't tell the repaint from the factory paint. Color and look is identical. Good stuff, it's a new millennium so I guess I'd be justified in order some more. Don

Check the wiring where the it bends on the left (driver's) side and make sure you have continuity in all the wires. I couldn't lock my car from the trunk for the longest time because of a similar problem, and your issue sounds familiar. Shane K. Jim Bassett <jim@jimbassett.com> wrote: Try locking the car with the key in the door (either door will do). See if the trunk locks. Yes? Then sounds like the alarm isn't wired/set-up properly. No? Then possibly a problem with the lock actuator/solenoid in the trunk. __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected.
