The headlight was broken (depo) and I now need to replace them. I want to go with ZKW or Hella. The question is; which? Assume the pricing is the same. Kent

Don't know, I have the ZKW Euro elipsoid headlights and I am very happy with them. I assume the Hellas are good too, they are a well renouned brand in general. Don Eilenburger (sorry if I spelled your name wrong Don) is the guy to ask, he just did a big E36 research project for Roundel. Regards -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

#4. Lowering versus toe alignment - from Mo Karamat

I recently bought the GC coilovers, and as the alignment shop "played" with the camber settings, they found that as they increased the negative camber, the car's toe became more positive. (toe out). GGC has decided to accept Elises, too, given the way the chassis integrates a factory roll bar. HOWEVER, the driver must fit in the car WITH the roof panel in place, so if you're super tall, you're SOL. - Mark Driving Events Coordinator, GGC BMW CCA ----- mark@pdc-racing.net Check out my JustRacing Home Page at: http://www.justracing.com/homepage/mdadgar

The Hellas I got use complex surface/secondary lenses with H7 bulbs as opposed to the H1s in ZKW ellipsoids. They were a bit more expensive and seem more difficult to locate. I am delighted with the improvement over stock and I'm sure the ZKWs are fine too. If the price is the same I'd get Hella. They look pretty cool too. I'm looking forward to Don's article in next month's Roundel too; I thought the last one was well done and informative. Maybe he'll pipe up and give you an answer based on what he found. If so, you can safely ignore my suggestion. marty Kent L. I found the same thing when I installed adjustable rear lower control arms. I had 1/8" toe in with -1.3 degrees camber before any adjustments, when I adjusted to -3 degrees camber the toe went to 0. -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL
