This would be good for a bit over 100 watts. At the voltage level seen in most voltage regulator failures, the harness is good for roughly 80 watts at the decreased operating voltage and will still be within the rating of the wire. If you get 2 cells on your battery shorted, you will start a fire turning on the headlights without the car started with 100 watt bulbs. Actually, the fuse will blow, you'll put a 30 amp in it. THEN it will catch fire.

Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 14:05:12 -0500 From: "Robert Exconde - 99e36m3" <99e36m3@Exconde.com> Subject: Climate Control Again ... Hello, I have searched some of the forums for the " Typical Climate Control " problem for the E36s and I have not found my specific problem, maybe it is a side effect. My AC unit seems to b e sending out cold air just fine ... Blower is just fine. But I noticed this weekend when I had only slippers on that the floor vents were getting scorching HOT air when I set the unit for the floor vents. When I press the front vents and the floor vents, I get cold air on top and HOT air on the feet. Is this part of the "resistor and final stage" replacement that everyone seems to have? I don't autocross, they will fade on the track but they come back quickly if you go easy on them for a while. I ran them last year at Road America, Blackhawk Farms and Gingerman. This year I switched to Hawk HT-10s which one guy who rode with me described as "Hand of God brakes". HT-10s are a little too agressive for the street though (they eat rotors until they are up hot) so they wouldn't meet all of your criteria. -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

I have a stock cast Iron S50 exhaust manifold that I will sell ($100 plus shipping), but I have never heard of an Aluminum one. I don't think that Aluminum would withstand the exhaust gas temperatures without melting. You might be better off looking for a stainless steel manifold from an S52, I found one on Bimmerforums and after an afternoon with a die grinder, I opened it up quite nicely. Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 15:32:18 -0400 From: <cteague@cox.net> Subject: Re: [E36M3] comments needed on Yoko ADVAN A032R for auto use Bob, The 032R's aren't going to be as fast as the Victoracers or the V700's. If you are running a very competitive class, I wouldn't recommend them. Of course, for the SCCA national tour style events, the V710's have pretty much wiped out the use of Victoracers. So it just depends what level of performance you are after. Can anyone comment how these tires perform compared to Kumho VictoRacers or the Ecsta V700 for autox use. > > TIA, > > Bob Gill
