Assuming all M3's came reinforced from the factory, has anyone tried putting on the Turner kit to re-reinforce that area? Thanks for your input. Alan 95 M3 - paranoid about rear floor falling out

Not sure what the M technic part has to do with anything - aren't those parts usually installed/used on non-M E36s? If you look under bodywork, for either M3 Coupes or Sedans, you get the same part numbers: 51711977117 51711977118 <shrug> > Jim, never question the 'Ru ....short for Guru. ROTFLMAO! Whatever... But it's only under the front bumper trim that you'll see the thing referred to as a spacer as listed for the coupe and not listed for the sedan. I once ordered the first part number I saw for the pork chop (must have looked at a different diagram) and received the sedan ones...EWE YUCKY! Hahaha. > <shrug> > > > Jim, never question the 'Ru ....short for Guru. ROTFLMAO! > > Whatever... Just messin' with ya! Chester

I don't really care much about the brand, does not have to be FIA approved. I am in-between a medium and large frame. If the size is not right for you, or if you're planning to upgrade, I will take the entire set (including sliders, base etc.) shoot me an email. Thanks, Ahmad

Not your > fault, I'm the one that crawled out from under my rock :-) DOH! I guess now wouldn't be the time to say that I get Fridays off during the summer, huh? oops...nevermind. Hope you're feeling better. Chester Who was abandoned by both Jim and the pit bunny when I was in California back in March. =X Instead...I travelled around Sacremento...which I discovered wasn't such a great neighborhood while walking around with my 20D w/ 24-70f2.8L lens. Eek! Of course, after we left there, my friend wanted to visit Old Sacremento...

They are the jsp98m3 special..so they might have a few brown stains from one of his many offs at the track ;) I believe the dates on the belts are from '98 or '99. I was thinking the first $250 takes them. Chester

Not your >fault, I'm the one that crawled out from under my rock :-) Before Jim returns to his rock ... :-) I happen to have a set of M3 Coupe front underbody winglets (BMW speak SPACER) in my hand. I like to call them shark fins, because that is what they look like when you set them on their flattest edge. Their part number is what Chester quoted: > The pork chops on the sedan (at least Dave's frankenstein) appear to be: > 51711977117 > 51711977118 > > The pork chops on the coupe (at least on my car) are: > 51712250641 > 51712250642 If you look closely at a 51-71-2-250-641 shark fin, you can see that it incorporates the 51-71-1-977-117 pork chop as part of it. Having two part numbers on the same part ... :-) I just replaced all my underbody plastic, shark fins, and fender liners with brand spanking new unbroken ones to remain legal in my class. Rex Tener rex_tener@yahoo.com PS: If anybody in the SF Bay Area wants a set of used underbody plastic, shark fins, and fender liners, it is free for pickup at my house in Los Altos. All have at least one cracked or broken tab, but if you are handy with sheet aluminum and a pop rivet gun, they can be made better/stronger than the factory stuff.
