I ordered in a new key from the dealer and everything was fine once again. I've managed to erase exactly how much that new key cost, I just remember that it was a tad overpriced. I'd suggest it might be a good idea to replace it anyway as a precaution. I suspect the key is purposely engineered softer than the tumblers and takes the brunt of the wear. It kind of made me wish I had remote key entry, just to have the key see less usage. I don't have any experience with the T1-R but I did think this was a good time to report on what I am running. I replaced the tires on my M3 about a month ago with the Avon Tech M500's and I couldn't be happier. I'm very impressed with wet and dry grip, noise (none) and the price (less than $500 for the set). Grip is on par with the Michelins that were on the car in the dry and better in the wet. I can't say how long they will last or if they will get noisier with age (Yoko ES-100's were unbearable once they got 5k on them). I'd recommend them to anybody for street tires. Shane

Can anybody comment on how this coilover kit might be to live with on a day to day street basis? In the past I never complained having an integra which was much lighter than my M3 where I auto'd on 400/350 linear springs driven daily. Now I must admit I am driving 245/255 R tyres (weather permitting) on the street almost daily right now, so I guess as driver I am prone to put up with more. I do have a 2nd beater vehicle. Passengers and a child in an infant seat may complain more. Really thou, what can be expected with 460/685 springs on the street? One unrelated attraction to coil-overs is the rumored strut clearance provided, which might allow me to get rid of the spacer with my 9" forgelines.... The special tool maybe the tool needed to remove the bushings. There are places you can buy the tool for <$100 (I think). Or you can kludge one together. Some backwoods boys wrote this.
