This is correct, and according to a source I trust (Daniel Stern) and photos I've seen of the pattern - these may have the best of any of the E36 patterns.. the light below the horizon line is both wider and more equally distributed. The ZKW has a fairly narrow (better than stock though) light area below the horizon line. It is, but it's puzzling because my air pump is working fine. The light comes on long after the car is warmed up, which is not what I would think it should be doing. My understanding of air injection was that it should only occur during cold start. Why the light comes on after 30 minutes of driving is a mystery. I know others have struggled with this fault but I have not been able to find a resolution. Shane k. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! #3. Question: What Lube to Use on Suspension? - from Alan Leung
Top
Date: Tue, 27 Sep 2005 14:52:14 -0500 From: "Alan Leung" <alanleung100@hotmail.com> Subject: Question: What Lube to Use on Suspension? As I'm preparing to put new coilover onto my car this weekend I'd like to know what type of lube should be used on exposed threads like those on the coilover, weight jack, adjustable rear control arm, etc, to keep the threads from binding over time. Thanks for your input. Alan 95 M3

Seats are from a 95 E36M3, 'Vader' style. I believe 'sport' and 'Vader' seat rails are the same. Mine is missing one of the mechanism rollers for smooth operation of fore-aft adjustment. #5. [E36M3] Question: What Lube to Use on Suspension? - from debuhr@comcast.net
Top
Date: Tue, 27 Sep 2005 21:54:23 +0000 From: debuhr@comcast.net Subject: [E36M3] Question: What Lube to Use on Suspension? IMO, the lube will only serve to attract more dirt and grime. Keep 'em clean. You can wipe them with a rag once in a while. I've never had anything bind up. Make sure you lube the bearings in the camber plates with some good marine grease or motorcycle chain wax. Keeps things nice and quiet. Also, you don't need to crank down to hard on the set screws in the spring adjustment collars. The threads are square cut and will not move once under load. Just snug them a little... Enjoy that new suspension! Seems to have much better clarity than my last OEM one. I hope it stands up better to the AZ pebbles. As always, thanks to you all for your advice and insight.

Is this something I can program myself or do I have to get the dealer involved. TIA, Graeme

Date: Wed, 28 Sep 2005 14:35:35 -0500 From: Peter <JPWheelr@dakarm3.com> Subject: Unknown mileage, roughish M3... ideas? I had a customer come into the shop here trying to sell his M3. Daytona Violet over Dove Grey 95, coupe, 5 speed, pretty stock, vaders, k&n type filter (needs seek trash - beyond cleaning) Has 98 engine. Was told engine has ~50k on it now, but don't believe it; car says it has 133k on it but carfax doesnt believe it. Has paintwork, has new passenger door (boston green on the inside behind the panel) Seats are shot, door panel is close. Other door panel missing (how I saw the green) drives pretty ok. Guestimate on what it needs to be a solid car again = $2000-$3500 Any club racer value or anyone here looking for a neat project for cheap? Any idea on its worth?
