Buy the PNP harness. >Muchachos, > >A pair of PnP's is like $10.00 >>The other option is to go to PepBoys, Kragen or whoever and buy the 9006 >>and 9007 replacement plugs. #4. Fan delete/ASC delete advice - from Brad DeMotte

I'm asuming the fan delete and the ASC delete just free up some horsepower. Is the fan delete wise in the Northeast, given summer temps? Since this is a daily driver, I'm not sure I want to give up the ASC delete for the winter months, but don't need it at the track. TIA, Brad DeMotte '97 M3

Some say dyno shows little benefit. Leave it on there if you're concerned. The ASC delete is another story. I'm fairly sure that most cam kits go to a larger (3.5") CAI and a better flowing intake manifold. I'm not sure if they change the throttle body to a larger one. Removing the ASC throttle body eliminates a restriction in the intake path. I wouldn't recommend this for the track, but for street or autocross it works great On the track you don't need a fan at all other than when you're sitting on the grid. Personally I wouldn't do that but instead I'd get rid of all the stock ones and install an electric puller fan on the radiator. Carlos 98 M3 w/fan delete, ASC delete would be nice since I forget to turn it off sometimes :-)
