How does one remove them? Is there a set screw or something I am missing? Patrick Goss 97 M3/4

No screws or glue. Watch your chin when you pull up on the shift knob. Seen people hit themselves on that one. You need to pull *REAL* hard. Bought a 98 but the radio is dead and am not looking forward to the 16 hour drive from FL to MD with no tunes. Also, the motor in the driver's seat that works the back recline doesn't work so I'd like to pick up a pair of seats in black if anyone has them in good shape. Thanks, Mike

Works on any E36. 2. Powder coated in black including hardware. 3. Non-hinge design. First $155.00 via Paypal takes it, buyer pays for UPS shipping. Price is reasonable when you consider other more flashy models which perform equal or much less due to their hinge-type design. I also have a new ITG filter that fits on a Conforti intake. $50.00, buyer pays for shipping. Thanks, Hans hansbatra@yahoo.com

I know of at least 3 other list members (myself included), who are running this. Cluck for buck is through the roof on this one! Design is unique placing extra support right where it is needed in the weak area where things normally fail. Can anyone confirm if other year M3s will fit the 1995 M3 exhaust system? If anyone has one lying around they want to get rid of please let me know how much you're asking. Thanks, Frank

#8. Peake Code: EA - Cat gone bad? - from twisty M3

Date: Wed, 09 Nov 2005 13:01:32 -0800 From: "twisty M3" <twistym3@hotmail.com> Subject: Peake Code: EA - Cat gone bad? Last night on my drive home for an incredible three days of on-track action, I got a Check Engine light with a Peake Research code of: EA - "Catalyst Efficiency below threshold" Cylinders 4-6 The car is a '99 with about 154K miles. There has been some recent rattling, which seems to be coming internally from one of the cats. Should I take this to mean that it's time to replace my cats? What sort of run condition will it cause to drive with them as-is temporarily? Lean? Rich? Neither? If it is actually time to replace them, is it best to change the 02 sensors at the same time? Thanks! Jonathan

Anyone have a link to a good installation how-to? Would be appreciated. Anyone here have one of these shifters? Like it? I'm really hoping it is wife friendly. She will go ballistic if it is a notchy, high effort shifter compared to stock like the B&M ripper in my C5. Dave > They both require some effort. > No screws or glue.
