Hmmm...it looks similar to the sight Lotus has for service manuals for the Elise. In the case for the Lotus, you could get a 24 hour subscription and download all the pdf files :) Chester --- B Stoll <m3tec@yahoo.com> wrote: > http://www.bmwtechinfo.com/ > > I searched the archives, but found no reference to it. > Anyone here ever use it ??

For BMW Club Racing between 2900 and 3100 lbs depending upon Prepared or Stock. My E36 M3 weighed in at VIR on the "official" scale at 3180 (cutting it very tight to the 3175 allowed in I-Stock). Remember, the cage is not light, so you can remove selected heavy stuff to get back down to factory stock weight. For your typical "track car" that's actually driven to & from the track, this is as good as you'll probably want to get. With a gutted and trailered E36 325 you can get really close to 2900 lbs. I'm sure James could get it even lighter. Dave Hogg #20 IS BTW, I wanted to publicly thank James and his guys at Bimmerworld for getting me on track in time for Saturday qualifying Octoberfest weekend with a quick-change of a brake circuit switch from their DE car. I'd been black-flagged in practice for "slowing down too much not to have the brakes on". They did it cheerfully, skillfully and didn't charge me a dime. That's good folks!

I did in fact download tons of information. I had to specifically agree not to distribute it though, so I have kept it to myself. It's easily worth the price of entry though if you have a fast connection and a couple of hours. You can also buy a wiring harness and access their diagnostic computers over the Internet to IIRC. -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

I'll pick up another car in the spring and it's gonna kill me to do all the work over again! A quick list of stuff. Email for pics opf specific areas if you want. 55,xxx miles. The nice part about how it used to be packaged was the handy foam applicator on the tube. Could get it right where you wanted it and not where you didn't want it. Best, Don

Dunno if you consider the price "reasonable" - but in a bind it might be quite handy and worth the $25. I'll ask to see how it works when I'm at BMW-NA seeing all their diagnostics stuff (hopefully within a week or so..) James, Marco, Mark, Jon, and others, You need to realize, certain individuals....*cough*jack carlos*cough*...are having a hard time letting go of the past, they still think E30s are faster than E36s, far superior, etc., etc. :-) Regards, Rich - knows an E36 M3 is faster than any similar E30, E36 suspension is superior, etc...to each their own.

We are short about 10 people. This is for experienced track drivers only who have run THill - there will be no instruction. The format is 2 run groups, 15 cars each and plenty of track time in a low key atmosphere, break for lunch. All for $175. If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP. We need to commit by this Friday.
