If Steve D. at the Ultimate Garage still carries the Fischer lines, get those. http://www.ultimategarage.com/brakemsc.html > I would like to replace mine and there seem to be > lots of high priced options, just looking for > something reasonable. Just my $0.02, but this is not the place to save money. When you need your brakes, you NEED your brakes, eh? - Mark ----- mark@pdc-racing.net Check out my JustRacing Home Page at: http://www.justracing.com/homepage/mdadgar

Lots of choices that you can go with. Elephant Motorsports and Bimmerworld both have StopTech lines. Tuner sells Goodridge, Elephant Motorsports can get those as well. Fischer are also good, Earl's from maybe BMP(?). Earl and Goodridge are among the cheaper options I think, I like the Stoptech ones because they come with the clear heat shrink wrap on them or whatever the coating is. Most of them are TUV approved and some are DOT compliant, I know the StopTechs are, the Goodridge as well. Carlos 98 M3 w/StopTech brakes and lines.

They do have a plastic (?) coating over the outside of the SS braid. Greatest vehicle out there for me. I have 5 kids and need the rear doors. I can do the driver schools. I can take kids to school. Got it with 40K and now have 67K on it. It is daily driver, except Indiana winters. Told the wife I was getting snow tires, came home with them, mounted on an SUV :). For the money, you really cannot beat the car. I have had this longer than any car I have ever owned (over 3 years). I always went the 325 route and added 'stuff' to make it like an M3 (never got there). Now I just keep adding to it. And the fun factor, always makes me smile. Paul Smith Attention: This message and all attachments are Private, and may contain information that is Confidential and Privileged. It's pretty unanimous throughout this thread that most of us "plan" to keep our beloved M3's forever. I know for me, these days she puts more of a smile on my face than the SO and is definitely lower maintenance ;-)) Honestly, if we could truly find a better dollar value (track, autox, and daily driver versatility), we'd switch. Up to this point not one automaker has hit the mark since the e36M3 departed production. The Cayman may come close, but at ~60K I'll need to have a big fat grin on my face. Long live the e36M3! cheers, Bob Gill 97 ///M3 coupe Philly Region SCCA 2005 Philly Region BSP Champion
