#2. Popping window - from Craig Perrin

Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2005 15:20:54 -0500 From: Craig Perrin <cperrin@tampabay.rr.com> Subject: Popping window My passenger side window pops once on the way up and once on the way down, nearly at the bottom each way, but otherwise works OK. It's almost like a torque pop deep in the door. I removed the panel and WD-40'd various pivot points, but no change. Any ideas on what this could be and how to fix it? Thanks, Craig Perrin 95 M3

It's only 53 miles from Kahului Airport to Hana, but it usually takes about 2½ to 3 hours to make the drive, of course that depends on how often you stop. i wish i had my M3 when i was there...i even wish i was the one driving too, but oh well, maybe next time...thanx again!!! Did that drive when we were there last time, 6 years ago. I got to drive back from Hana to Lahaina <big thumbs up>. The rental handled NOWHERE near like my M3 :-) This trip was all about doing nothing but laying around at the beach/pool/cottage patio getting caught up on all my reading. Oh, and the occasional beer and/or umbrella drink :-) Dammit, now I want to go back. Jim Bassett - not enjoying being back in his fabric-covered box

Shephard" <kents@kls-consulting.com> Subject: Maui Hana - was Stiff steering Mandatory M3 content --- I've driven the road and at no point did I want my M3. The road is so slow and winding, I wanted and automatic. No debates but an M3 with an automatic just isn't an M3. IMHO, YMMV. Anyway, i did the drive 10 years ago and again last year. Last year it was better but it's still a bad drive. BTW, I love Maui and always stay in Kahanapali. #10. Stiff steering - from Mo Karamat

Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2005 19:02:14 -0500 From: Mo Karamat <karamatm@optonline.net> Subject: Stiff steering Bob, Hello. To answer your question, No, the brake fluid has nothing to do with the ATF that the power steering system uses.. I just replaced all of the power steering lines in my 98 M3/4. Use a turkey baster and remove whatever you can from the reservoir. Then unclamp one of the lines that are connected below the reservoir, and let the rest of the fluid drain. There is also a small amount of fluid in the rack, but I do not know how to drain the fluid that fluid... Hope this helps Mo 98 M3/4 95 M3 Track car in progress 91 325IX 82 Euro e21 323i for Sale! -------------------- 10 -------------------- Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2005 08:13:05 -0500 From: mdriver13@aol.com Subject: Re: [E36M3] RE: Stiff steering How does one change the power steering fluid?
