I'm not sure what his schedule is like (probably incredibly busy) but he might be able to help him out. Best to give him a call, not the best with email :-) And oh yeah mention that I referred you (I'm very good friends with Gary), might help out. Good luck! ted > Anyone know of a good independent that can inspect an E36 M3 for me in the > Fairfax, Virginia area. Another one I'd like to throw out there is: http://www.germanautoparts.com/ Been dealing with them for quite a while and they are always consistently cheaper than any other place I have looked at it. ted

I did a similar thing to my old 330i when I was trying to trailer it one time and I couldn't find a mark on it afterwards. It seems like you probably have a few scratches on the bottom of the tailpipe but it's not like that makes any difference. I would hope for the best, you might be suprised. Got it with 92K miles on it and already have over 94K on it now. Car is bone stock and was very well maintained. Original owner had it from '95 to 2003 then another owner had it since then. As far as I can tell it just sat in the prior owners garage all the time...we put more miles on the car in a month then he did in one year. Cosmetically the car is in outstanding condition, and it is also in exceptional mechanical shape, I put about $1K worth of parts into it and at the moment it needs nothing. Anyway, here are the pics: http://tinyurl.com/7pfqc Dave T.
