Is there an easy way to get to the bolts at the top of the tranny brace? Regular wrenches and ratchets certainly don't work well, and I can't imagine how in the world I'm supposed to be able to torque those things back on properly. #5. For Sale or Trade: Exhaust - from twisty M3

Date: Thu, 08 Dec 2005 10:06:59 -0800 From: "twisty M3" <twistym3@hotmail.com> Subject: For Sale or Trade: Exhaust I'm looking to sell or trade my UUC System*U exhaust. It fits all 6-cylinder E36 cars (325 --> M3). I actually love the sound of it, but my car will soon be carrying a few extra revs at fwy cruising speeds, and I want to mellow that out a bit, plus I just swapped back to stock for a 3-day Laguna Seca adventure and I don't really want to EVER swap again just for fear of sound violations (only got dinged there once on an overcast day, but don't want to take the risk with so many days in a row there). I'll entertain offers to sell it, but I'm mostly interested in trading it for the AA Gen3, Supersprint or even Dinan. First choice would probably be AA (unless anyone's had sound issues with that). The System*U sounds and looks great, and only weighs 22 lbs. I'm in California, so something "local" would be easiest but not mandatory. Feel free to contact me off-list so as not to clutter things up. Thanks, Jonathan L.

Jonathan, I installed a (used) JTD transmission mount a few months back, and have some additional vibration/noise, but nothing overwhelming. Perhaps you need to loosen the bushing mounts, if I recall adjusting the torque on those should make a difference. I'm noticing that the passenger side mirror barely heats at all, whereas the drivers side one still works great. The drivers side one was replaced with the euro glass, whereas the passenger side one is the original. That's my theory.
