Maybe my eyes are just getting old... But it seems like lately I have been really bothered by headlights in my drivers side mirror. The new trucks are especially bad offenders with their cheap Euro style imitation lighting. And I live in the land of trucks. I was actually thinking about slapping some laminate on there just to tone things down. Yea, I know that's kind of Mohican. Matthew 98 M3/4

It's been gradually getting better over the years, but there still is an inordinate number of trucks on the road. They glare at you. They cut you off on the on-ramps. They dole out door dings in the parking lots without remorse or guilt, perhaps even pleasure. They are evil. ;-) If I offended any Mohicans out there, I apologize. Nothing derogatory meant by the usage. There are way too many trucks everywhere, including here in Seattle. I didn't mean to imply you were being offensive with Mohican. I just hadn't heard it before. If I'd known the right side Euro is exactly the same as the NA except for the DOT warning, I wouldn't have bothered. The left side convex really helps these small mirrors. Date: Fri, 9 Dec 2005 07:56:01 -0500 From: "Richard Sperry" <richardsperry@comcast.net> Subject: Mirrors As I recall, heated mirrors came with the heated seats, along with heated door locks and washer nozzels. I got the euro drivers side many years ago in the group buy. We came to find out that the euro glass has a different heating element than the US version, and gets much hotter than the stock one. It only took a little bit of time to get used to the new mirror, but now, when adjusted correctly it works great.
