Better leverage that way. O, in that case, I would loosen the bolts while the serpentine belt is still in place since it will hold the pulley in place. Good luck, Chester

Date: Wed, 21 Dec 2005 18:00:18 -0800 From: "twisty M3" <twistym3@hotmail.com> Subject: FS: Factory Offset Control Arm Bushings I have a brand new set of factory offset control arm bushings available. They were pressed in, but never run on a car, so they're still new with just a few marks from being pressed and removed. Last time I checked Turner has them for $99 and the place I got them from, DasAutosport.com, has them for $69. Will sell for $65 *shipped* or best offer. Please respond off list. Thanks for the bandwidth, Jonathan L.

Turns out that if you replace the rubber gaskets around both the fuel pump and fuel level sensor, it fixes the code. And what an easy fix. Just need 2 of these rubber gaskets: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CD93&mospid=47504&btnr=16_0211&hg=16&fg=15 and then just pop up the backseat, unscrew both the pump on the passengers side and fuel sensor on the drivers side, change the gaskets and voila, no more check engine light. Good idea to change those clamps on the hoses there too. Finally! Hope that helps, ted

#10. Cam Interchange - from Martin Bullen

Date: Sat, 24 Dec 2005 16:01:38 -0500 From: Martin Bullen <vze322dw@verizon.net> Subject: Cam Interchange Having recently done the Sunbelt cams and other bits and pieces, I now have the stock cams from my 1995 M3 with the S50 3.0L engine sitting around, leading to the idle thought that they might be a nice little mod to my 1997 Z3 2.8 with the M52 single vanos motor. Does anyone know offhand if the M3 cams would drop into the Z3 motor? The ETK shows different part numbers for 3.0 and 3.2l cams, and the Eurosport kit for the 2.8l specs S52 cams, but as far as I can tell the Sunbelt and Schrick cams fit both motors. If the cams wont fit (that's my suspicion), then anyone interested in a straight-up swop: My S50 cams (75k miles) for your S52 cams? Martin Bullen '95 M3 '97 Z3 2.8
