I would happily trade it for an equivalent exhaust for my '96 M3. Pictures at: http://www.excell.net/m3/images/88_m3_exhaust_1.jpg http://www.excell.net/m3/images/88_m3_exhaust_2.jpg Thanks! I think we may do something more exciting - Either about 330 NA with some new stuff we are working on or 450-500 FI. You can pick these up pretty cheap, but all cars in Europe are. The trouble is getting them imported here. James Clay http://www.bimmerworld.com http://www.bimmerworldracing.com http://www.powerflexusa.com Race Proven BMW Performance 877.639.9648

#6. Heater box removal - from Walter J
Top
Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2006 15:38:40 -0500 From: Walter J <m3gtr@adelphia.net> Subject: Heater box removal I am removing the heater box from my track car and replumbing the hoses under the hood this weekend. Does anyone have a heads-up for potential pitfalls? The entire dash is already out - the box is loose... but I haven't even opened the hood yet (been too busy gutting the door and chasing wires, ug, talk about time sinks). Anybody know what I need in terms of hoses/connectors to bypass it neatly? -- Walter

#7. E36 M3Exhaust for sale - from Gary
Top
Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2006 17:57:27 -0600 From: "Gary" <probikeguy@probikeusa.com> Subject: E36 M3Exhaust for sale Since I am going to use a 3.5 inch exhaust system on the M3 turbo... I am selling my current set up. Super Sprint Muffler, and resonated mid pipe. I put all of this on last summer, 2005. Super Sprint Stainless Steel Race Muffler, 50mm pipe, Part # 022 043 406, new cost $540.00 I built the center section from Mandrel bent pieces with two straight through perforated mufflers, the piping is 2.25inchs, or 50mm, aluminized steel. I have around $250.00 invested in the mid pipe. $375.00 for all of it. I don't want to separate it since the mid pipe is built for the muffler. The Muffler and Mid pipe will fit any E36 chassis car. Thanks Gary

#9. RPM Drop with any accessory turned on - from Robert Exconde - 99e36m3

I noticed that my RPM dropped as if it were taking a toll on the engine. I tried a couple things ... It happens with the AC, the rear defroster, the seat heaters, the lights, and I THINK the radio does it too. Due to lack of fingers I havent been able to turn all of them on at the same time to see if it stalls the car. But it does seem to take the RPM down and its rather concerning. If when you turn electrical equipment on and the idle drops briefly and then returns to normal don't worry about it. If it doesn't return to idle then there is a problem somewhere. Conceivably if you turned EVERYTHING on you could cause the car to stall.
