We've had it for almost 2 years and it is in great shape. 74k miles, 100% stock except for good Red Line fluids and Super Blue brake fluid. I am selling this and keeping my 112k 97 Cosmos M3 Sedan since the '98 will sell easier and fetch at least $4-5k more. If interested, please check out the web site at http://www.garnetsecure.com/m3forsale It is also listed on Roadfly and Bimmerforums and soon on Autotrader. Thanks, John Davidson _________________________________________________________________________ Live, laugh, and chat with friends about your favorite cars. at Roadfly. #2. Bilsteins & T-shirts - from Peter Fry

Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2006 21:35:56 -0600 From: Peter Fry <PeterFry@aol.com> Subject: Bilsteins & T-shirts Group- I'm reading the Bilstein Sport discussion with interest. Ahmad- you and I seem to be on the same timeline. My red 99 M3 has 81K on it and the shocks are plenty tired. After much contemplation, I ordered Bilsteins to install with stock springs. I think I'll actually look forward to some firmness after a winter on shot shocks and snow tires on 16" rims. The Bilsteins go on next week, joining the X-brace I installed this weekend. I'll faithfully report my inpressions. (Hope I don't find out I'm a sissy!) T-shirts: While catching up on my digest reading the other day, I saw some discussion of a new list T-shirt order. I missed the last one while out of the country. Did I miss this one, too? Or is it still pending? And what about the cling stickers? Think I was in Kuwait during that order. Thanks, ___ Peter Fry

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Forgeddabout the zip-ties. Instead - remove the switch bracket (1 10mm bolt) - Then the pedal can be moved up enough so the spring simply goes right back in position. Reinstall the switch bracket wilst pushing the pedal down enough so the bracket clears. Piece'a'cake. Sorta. How much hp does that AA put out? 30lbs sounds low to me unless they've bumped the fuel pressure significantly over stock. I sized mine to a 300hp motor at 80% duty cycle max. I am aware that some list members are running AA FI kits. I would really appreciate a reply if anyone does know. All I know is that it's a bosch injector with a red top (stocks are pink), and flows around 30lbs/hr, maybe a lot more, maybe a little less. Please help. ________________________________ From: Patrick Goss - PA Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2006 3:51 PM To: E36M3 Subject: Fuel Injectors used with AA supercharger No guessing, what lb/hr are used with the AA 1st gen supercharger? I'm in between one of these units versus a GC unit. I want to know what would be better for a 98% street driven car (i.e., I don't want to be afraid of the road and hitting bumps that make me feel like I've damaged the car). Considering these are still Bilstein shocks, and that I currently have Bilsteins and H&R OE Sport springs, I need some pretty solid assurance that these shocks are valved differently than regular Bilstein Sports and that they won't be so horridly rough on uneven pavement. Thanks! Date: Tue, 14 Mar 2006 03:26:19 -0600 From: scrowl@austin.rr.com Subject: Re: UUC Clutch Pedal Pivot Bushing Install Problem I put the zip-ties on one coil above and below the top and bottom so that when I cut them after installing, I could get them out. Unfortunately, I did not grease the spring pivot point sufficiently. Now that the weather is warming, it is squeaking. I used white lithium for the bushing and pivot. As for fuel pressure they are claiming to do it via the computer reflash. What do you think?
