I installed the BimmerWorld/Sunbelt cams in my E36 M3 and they made a huge difference. Before the cams my motor was putting down 240rwhp on a Dynojet with software, pullies, CAI, M50 intake manifold. I added the cam kit and before I did an AA track pipe the car put down 255rwhp on AA's Mustang dyno. With the trackpipe, the car went up to 265rwhp. And there is no loss of low-end torque with these up grades. Yes - Synchromax works fine in these transmissions 2. RP has a table on their website detailing what should be used with what year BMWs (and more importantly - what fluid label is found on the trans..) You have a yellow-label saying MTF-LT-1 should be used. This is an Esso oil. They recommend it be replaced with Synchromax (as mine was on the '98 and the newtome '02) 3. Changes aren't needed - under the warranty. If that's how long you want the car to last. Sorta like the 17,000 mile oil change intervals. The newer M3's specify a change of the trans fluid at 1,200 miles, then at every Service-II.. and it is marked on the trans with the yellow lifetime label. It's good stuff. Works well. With a set of 10mm spacers for the fronts, I did not notice any rubbing in limited street driving, either over bumps or at full steering lock. It looks like the rears might rub in the upper part of the fender flares under some serious compression, but since I have fairly stiff springs and swaybars, I'm not sure how much it'll actually rub. We'll see what happens when I get the suspension fully loaded. I have stock strut housings in front, with Konis and the GC C/O conversion kit and 3.5 deg of camber in front and 2 deg in the rear. The fenders on my sedan are rolled. The car is slightly lower than stock. Dave

Anybody who's been wondering what to do about fuel starvation during hard track running should jump on this. Has anyone ordered it more recently, and if so, does it still require some modifying, or is it good-to-go as it comes? I've been contemplating this for a while, and I'm finally fed up with having to fill up everytime I even start creeping towards 1/2 tank. Jonathan L.
