If you are really creative you could pick out hoses from the pre bent stuff and make them...Might not be real cheap. #2. fan issues - from Juan Bruce

Date: Mon, 3 Apr 2006 18:30:51 -0700 From: "Juan Bruce" <jbruce@gmail.com> Subject: fan issues I left my '95 M3 sitting for two weeks and when I started it up today there is an issue with the climate control (early, non digital version with 4 knobs). The fan/blower only works when turned to position 4. On positions 1 to 3 it blows no air at all. It does not matter if the AC or heat is on or off or where you direct the air. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any ideas what to start replacing? Thanks, Juan Bruce BMW CCA GGC '95 M3 OBD1 3.2 '85 M635CSi ..:: Juan Bruce :: jbruce@gmail.com :: +1.650.218.0442 ::.

Regards, Rich - uses OE BMW hoses because they work and they last and I don't believe there is anything "better".

Biggest hassle is finding the thing. DAG on "e36 blower resistor pack" and you'll find some sites with pictures. Murray Roblin Palo Alto

I've never seen another hose last 170,000 miles.. And I'm replacing it simply as a precautionary measure :) Thanks, Mark

#7. Stock Exhaust Question - from FranKirsten
Top
Date: Mon, 3 Apr 2006 21:38:23 -0700 From: "FranKirsten" <frankirsten@msn.com> Subject: Stock Exhaust Question I need to get my exhaust back to stock form on my 1995 M3. I am planning to just put an ANSA muffler back on the vehicle. What I would like to know is if there is a difference between the 325, 328 and M3 exhausts of that year fitment? I'm also looking to put on a new stock style catalytic converter, so the same question applies. If you are wondering, I fabricated a "Tunnel" style 3 inch exhaust a few years back and don't have any of the old components today. I'm sick of the sound and would like to get back to stock. If you can point me to any good dealer for the two parts, that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Frank

(Hey I just like silicon). Seriously though, I am in the process of upgrading the radiator to zionsville's comp kit, so using some better hoses just seemed the thing to do. Curious what I should do now with the other hoses, since the rest will be basically bulletproof. BTW I am going FI so this is why I am concerned. Any reasons, why? What's a guy to due when >something better than stock is desired for replacing 9 year old original >hoses? Go with original hoses. I put the Samco hoses on my car and maybe it was because I used a Zionsville Al rad maybe not but they were a b!tch to put on! One was too long after all the time I spent wrestling with the thing and had to trim it so it wouldn't be pinched. Umm needless to say, never again. You'd have to be seriously insane to want to put those hoses everywhere especially when a kit isn't made. -Carlos. 98 M3 with blingy Samco hoses :-)

I have a factory cat back that came off my 98 M3 at 50k miles in very nice shape that is officially "in my way". If you are anywhere near northeast PA or southeast PA such that I don't need to figure out how to ship this awkward thing to an eBay user I'd be happy to insure that it is a cheaper solution than an ANSA muffler ;) As far as your real question... the non-M E36 guys see the M3 pipes as an upgrade and need to make some kind of "adjustment" to hang them so there is a difference - I do not think you would want to put a 325 exhaust on your M3. -- Walter FranKirsten wrote: >Date: Mon, 3 Apr 2006 21:38:23 -0700 >From: "FranKirsten" <frankirsten@msn.com> >Subject: Stock Exhaust Question > >I need to get my exhaust back to stock form on my 1995 M3.
