Anyway, I'm gettiong a pretty significant rattling/clunking from the right front.

Only a few drops will come out at the caliper when the line is undone - buying you time to do a caliper or two. ***NOTE*** Brake fluid will eventually dissolve saran wrap so don't leave it that way for a week (guess how I know this) but a few hours is just fine. -- Walter

Only put it on the reservoir, give it a couple pumps...you're good to go for quite a while. Even once the caliper is removed there is enough vacuum to keep it from leaking. Heck, I've left a line hanging for days with no drips. Do you think that had anything to do with it? ;-) Well I'm at 3.5 MPG according to my OBC after the last autox! We couldn't find it or tell that the end link nut was loose until we put it on a lift. By taking the weight off of the sway bar, you could then turn the nut by hand. No problem since. Speed kills You can only trust the OBC if you have stock fuel injectors so I calculate it manually. That's pretty good consumption though, I have no idea how I could possibly use more gas than I do at the track so your car can't be stock -- engine wise. -- Jamie Howton 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

Replacing your original injectors with 24lb injectors will throw the OBC consumption calibration off, and there isn't enough variation in it's settable range to compensate for the additional fuel used by the 24lb injectors. See the Digest archives: http://www.bmw-m.net/Digest/Archive_2002_08_digest_2485-2564/digest2560.htm#5 http://www.bmw-m.net/Digest/Archive_2002_08_digest_2485-2564/digest2559.htm#10 So, your OBC numbers are now pure fiction.-rb > -------------------- 4 --------------------> Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2006 14:47:00 -0400> From: "Daniel Lowe" <blackjackbimmer@gmail.com>> Subject: Fwd: [E36M3] This car is amazing... <snip> > I usually get some where in the mid to high 30's mpg on mixed driving.
