Date: Sat, 13 May 2006 16:10:13 -0400 From: "Lawrence Barbieri" <larry@logicalconclusions.com> Subject: RE:TireTrailer I was fortunate and had the help of a mechanical engineer friend that had some spare aluminum hanging around. Basically, built up bracket on each end of the trailer, bored a hole in each side to accomodate a bar and welded some threaded rod to the end. Then welded some additional rod stock to the sides of a large nut to make an easily twistable handle. I'll send you some photos under a separate e-mail. If anyone else is interested in the pics e-mail me and I'll forward them on to you. #2. E36 Amp Installation - from Mark D

Date: Sat, 13 May 2006 17:53:04 -0400 From: Mark D <mdlkml@atari-source.com> Subject: E36 Amp Installation Hey guys, I was interested in hooking up a 4 channel amp and crossover to my HK system in place of the HK amps. I've been comparing the sound of my car to other cars and mine is coming up short. Mids are piercing but not even all that loud at higher volumes. The speaker output from the HK amp has a special harness. I was hoping I coudl find a plug for this so I wouldn't have to do any cuts to the factory install as I plan to sell the car fairly soon. Any ideas where to find such a harness/plug? Thanks, Mark

The time has come to part with the small car, as my pregnant wife thinks a family of three will not fit in her little car. She's not leaving the BMW family, just going to a format that better supports a growing family (E46 325 Sport Wagon) and I'm keeping the 98 M3. Anyway, here's the ad copy: 2001 BMW Z3 3.0 Convertible Sienna Red with Black Top and Black Leather Interior. $21,000. Manual 5 speed Transmission, 46k miles. Power roof and seats, premium package, sport package with M styled seats, shift knob and steering wheel, premium Harmon Kardon Stereo System with 6 disc changer, heated seats, keyless entry and on-board computer. First, I received a few off digest requests for t-shirt style embroidered shirts. I think a fair number of folks are interested in an embroidered long-sleeve t-shirt to wear during HPDE’s. Since most chapters require long-sleeve 100% cotton shirts, this would be a nice item to have. So, my wife is going to make those available too! Given that, here is a complete list of the available items, cost, size, etc. Polo-style shirt: Short sleeve (white or black): S-XL $27 Long sleeve (white or black): S-XL $32 Upcharge for larger sizes: 2X (+$4), 3X (+$5), 4X (+$7) T-shits (both will be Hanes Beefy-T): Short sleeve (white or black): M-XL $15 Upcharge for larger sizes: 2X (+$1), 3X (+$2), 4X (+$4) Long sleeve (white or black): M-XL $18 Upcharge for larger sizes: 2X (+$2) Hats: White or black: $14 Visors: White or black: $13 Shipping is $4 across the board. If you end up ordering multiple items, I should be able to fit several things into the same package. No charge for my handling! ;) So, once you decide what you would like to offer, please add up the total and send me a check (address is below) made out to me. Also, please send me an email as I am keeping track in a spreadsheet who orders what. Be sure to include your address too. We will take checks until Friday, 5/26. Early the next week, my wife will order the blanks. Once they arrive, she’ll start production. As she finishes, I will start mailing them out. Any questions, drop me a note! That would require something more than just bolt-cutters to open if you used the "enclosed" security padlocks. Of course, somebody prepared could bring a sawzall to the heist... :-) -Pete On 5/15/06, Doug Wirth <doug_wirth@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Date: Mon, 15 May 2006 07:48:45 -0700 (PDT) > From: Doug Wirth <doug_wirth@yahoo.com> > Subject: Re: [E36M3] Re: Tire trailer q's > > There are several picutures here of what I wound up with.
