At the time, I asked if it was an outdoor cover and he said yes. Well, that was many months ago when the M3 was real dirty and even washing it yielded a rough paint surface. So last weekend, I was at a friend's house and watched as he put his car back together and so I decided to wash my car and clay it. Show it some TLC. Clayed the whole thing, took out the porter cable, polished the paint, applied the sealant, etc, etc. Wow...it actually looks nice! Ah! Now is the time to put the cover on (car stays parked outside all of the time) so I can have a clean car the next time I drive it regardless if it rains between now and then. So...car is covered..it's nice and sunny...a few hours later, the heavens open and I have a grin on my face that it's protected. Go outside after the rain ends only to find a wet t-shirt looking car. Ugh. I guess it was an indoor cover. Hahahaha. So much for having the car nice and clean for 3 hours total. --- Scott McClung <smlists@pacbell.net> wrote: > see - this is why I stay on this list even tho my M3 has moved to another > list member long ago!! I have been welding MIG and TIG for close to 10 years, mainly on my "garage projects". Dang Chester, you have the welder that I have been waiting to buy, the Miller Dynasty 200DX. That is a really sweet welder. I need one of those for the projects that require a more precise weld than my Lincoln 220 machine can do. You will absolutely love the High Frequency Inverter welding..... aaahhhh... so smooth!!!! have fun with it..... and stay away from bare live wires!! bob

#10. E36 M3 race exhaust for sale - from RFKoby@aol.com

Date: Fri, 2 Jun 2006 22:10:18 EDT From: RFKoby@aol.com Subject: E36 M3 race exhaust for sale Since we are talking about welding projects...... Over the last year, I developed a full race exhaust for my M3 (which is now gone). It bolts up to factory headers, or shorty complatible, using factory recycled down tubes. Custom Y-merge collector to a full 3" exhaust. Magnflow center section muffler, and rear section muffler. Removable rear muffler, and optional straight pipe, or race can muffler. This is a modular design, and breaks apart into sections. It can be run as a full race straight pipe. If anyone is interested in this, let me know, I can send pictures. I would like to get $500 for it. bob
