Did you get a fresh alignment after the spring swap. Should've had the work done at Goss's garage they have toe plates you know :) Patrick Goss -----Original Message----- From: mdriver13@aol.com [mailto:mdriver13@aol.com] Sent: Monday, July 10, 2006 1:56 PM To: E36M3 Subject: [E36M3] Opinions needed on adjustable RLCA's Date: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 13:46:26 -0400 From: mdriver13@aol.com Subject: Opinions needed on adjustable RLCA's Group, Well I installed Eibach Pro-Kit springs on the M3 last week. I did not want much of a drop in ride height. I actually got less than expected -- about a half inch all around. I suspect between 10 year old OEM springs and old insulator pads that I already had some sag with age (don't we all). Anyway, I do have a slight rubbing issue on the left rear tire. It's not rubbing on the fender (they are rolled), but I'm seeing a rub mark on the inside of the wheel well plastic cover. Just a little, but I'm concerned that when I autox this weekend it could become a bigger issue. I have as much negative camber as I can get from the OEM RLCA's but that's only -1.6 degrees. More camber will help solve this rubbing AND help the handling too. I've been looking at the adjustable RLCA's and my question is who makes the best?? All opinions wanted...I like what I see from Turner, GC, Rogue, and BMP. They all seem to be in the $300 price range too. I want easy adjustability to go from street (-1.0 degree) to autox (-2.5 degrees). I am not supporting the pirating cause at all. I merely stumbled upon this while looking for a new front panel, (dang New Jersians how dare they confuse weight of M3 against rear bumper for emergency brake being stuck on, let me hit the gas more, Hey, what's that crunching noise?) I want easy adjustability to go from street (-1.0 degree) to autox (-2.5 degrees). IMO you don't want to be changing camber in the rear all the time. Set it at -2.0 degrees and forgettaboutit. I went with the Turner ones. Make sure these things are legal for your autox class first though. -Carlos.

I wouldn't consider them to be so easy to adjust that they'd be something I'd want to adjust frequently; but I suppose that depends upon your tolerance for pain... Speaking of pain you will also get an increase in NVH over stock with the solid bushings. I have a personal theory that installing solid bushings in one part of the suspension will quickly cause the surrounding rubber bushings to fail more quickly. I speak as one that has no remaining non-solid bushings in his suspension which is why it's not a street car anymore. Regards -- Jamie Howton 2006 M Roadster 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

Correct, and if you want/need slightly more extensive instructions, see Brett Anderson's Koala Motorsport web site: http://www.koalamotorsport.com/article-e36microfilter.asp (On my M3, there's a junction box that is a bit in the way, but it unhooks from it's mount, making it pretty easy to get the filter in/out.)
