Got my flow analysis as well. Above all, the prices were great. $72 for a set of six injectors ($12 a pop compared to $25 most folks charges). No affiliations, just a happy customer. A.L.

Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2006 10:12:35 -0500 From: "Dat Quach" <quachd@gmail.com> Subject: RE: FRONT CONTROL ARMS It could be the control arms, but is it only clunking when you release and apply pressure to the brakes when you're not moving? I had a clunk that could be heard when I went over bumps at a low speed (i.e. tracks from the entrance opening at home). Turned out to be the strut hats. One had a lot of sloppy movement from side to side and the other was binding (i.e. not moving smoothly when rotated). The binding caused a popping noise when I would back up at an angle and then go forward. Bill Kim of SoulSpeed Performance diagnosed the problem and fixed it quite quickly. FYI, anyone in Austin looking for an alternative to the stealer should check Bill's shop out...service is outstanding and prices aren't bad either. Dat '97 M3/2

Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2006 12:34:18 -0400 From: "Ahmad Lutfeali" <m3_racer99@hotmail.com> Subject: RE: Sway Bars Neil and Carlos, I have been tuning my car with sway bars (the only tuning equipment available in I Stock class since springs are fixed due to availability and non-adjustable shocks were later matched to the said springs). That said, I had the UUC swaybars on my car (previously) with front set on full stiff and rear full soft running Bilstein (off the shelf) and Eibach springs (145lbs front and 415lbs rear) -3 front camber, -2 rears. Car felt awesome. Remember the UUC bars were designed for the street guys who occasionally would do DE/Autox. The larger rear bar worked well on softly suspended springs. I upgraded to 700lbs/800lb (f/r) springs and the drama began. I couldn't put the power down at all. Talk about mid-corner oversteer the moment I applied slight bit of power. I had James Clay take it out at Sebring and we can back disconnecting the rear bar. Problem solved (as far as oversteer was concerned); however I didn't like the front and rear roll bias without the rear bar. I tried a stock 95 M3 bar and the car still had a slight tendency to oversteer and ended up putting a 15mm 325i bar. The front UUC bar when set on full stiff, the car would understeer (this was NOT the case with the stockish Eibach springs- when set to full stiff, it eliminated the push). That said, here is my conclusion: with an agressively stiff springs, the camber/roll gain which you see from stiffer bars on soft springs goes away. Heck with my current setup, I had to run the front bar on full soft to eliminate the push. Nothing wrong with the UUC bars but even on their website, it pretty much talks about how these bars work on sport/stock suspended cars. Different applications (was very happy with the UUC setup on my then street suspended car). I know of a few racers running the 24mm UUC bar at the back but with slightly softer springs than mine (more like 550ish lbs). Live and learn. A.L.

Something like removing the fuel pump fuse and running motor until it stops? I thought I heard this but have never done it yet. Either way this should probably only be attempted on a cold engine just to be safe.
