Is it worth $59? Yeah, I have one that I've used for three years in my garage and at the track. I do maintain it though, keep the oil filled and lubricate everything that moves but it still works fine. I think I paid $150 for mine from HF. I don't know if the one they are selling now is the same as I bought 3 years ago, but I do know I would hate to have to manufacture them for that price. -- Jamie Howton 2006 M Roadster 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

I've never tried PS2s, but I have had S03s for years, probably three or four sets on different cars and I like them a lot for the street. I have them on my M5 now as a matter of fact and have usually been able to get around 15K miles out of a set on the street. I have also used them on the track as rain tires and they worked very well there. -- Jamie Howton 2006 M Roadster 2000 M5 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL

The first was a c-clip that popped off - happened about a week after I bought it, the second was a hydraulic failure. I had purchased the extended warranty, something I almost never do, and am glad I did.. I'll see how this third one goes... I will say that it is VERY light, and has a reasonably low deck. -jeff 98 ///Sedan Carey Probst <m3carey@hcprobst.com> wrote: Date: Thu, 24 Aug 2006 11:38:37 -0400 From: Carey Probst Subject: Harbor Freight Racing Jack Harbor Freight just sent me a special with a 3000 lb. racing jack for $59 compared to the regular price of $84 Anybody have experience with this jack and is it worth the $$? #9. Harbor Freight Racing Jack - from Mo Karamat

Date: Fri, 25 Aug 2006 09:03:14 -0400 From: Mo Karamat <karamatm@optonline.net> Subject: Harbor Freight Racing Jack Carey, Hello. I have had one for several years without any problems. It looks VERY similar to the Griots much more expensive version. Just make sure to put the load on the center of the pad, and not near the edges, these jacks tend to break the lift pad surface if there is too much weight placed near the edges. Enjoy.
