I previously bought a cheapy $99 jack that was a bit lighter, but it would bend slightly while lifting a corner of the car, and would slowly let the car down... Not exactly on the list of things I look for in a jack. ;) I've had the Crafstman unit for a few months now and am very pleased with it, and picked it up because of a few other people who use on on a regular basis. I think that as long as you don't store it on it's side, you can avoid any leaks or problems. Plus, it has a cool magnetic tray for lugs and whatnot. ;) Jonathan L.

I had to add some hydraulic oil and bleed the cylinder when it was new, but other than that it has been flawless. I haven't tried to lift anything heavier than the front of the M3, but it works fine for that. I find it very easy to control the release, unlike some other cheap jacks that go down suddenly. -Paul -----Original Message----- From: Carey Probst [mailto:hcprobst@alum.mit.edu] Sent: Thursday, September 28, 2006 12:27 PM To: E36M3 Subject: Re: [E36M3] Sears 4,000lb aluminum racing jack is on sale for $150 Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2006 12:19:49 -0400 From: Carey Probst <hcprobst@alum.mit.edu> Subject: Re: [E36M3] Sears 4,000lb aluminum racing jack is on sale for $150 Thanks Wayne, anyone have any experience with this jack?
