I had a Media Pass, but only made it down for the World Challenge Touring race on Sunday (I do PR for some of the drivers/teams). It was apparently a good turn-out on Saturday, which is a good sign going forward. They are, however, going to repave the track AGAIN in the spring. My experience has been that PPG is better than the OEM stuff. The original Securit glass developed scratches from the windshield wipers after mebbe 20 or 30k miles. The PPG glass has not shown any issues like that. Thumbs up. Andrej '97 M3 Kelvin wrote: > Any words of wisdom here? Is PPG glass as good or better than BMW? > >

#6. autox in the cold -- tire pressures - from mdriver13@aol.com

Date: Wed, 25 Oct 2006 23:35:07 -0400 From: mdriver13@aol.com Subject: autox in the cold -- tire pressures Hi Group, I have a friend that just finished an autox last weekend in cold weather conditions. He runs Kumho VictoRacers and his question to me was; should he run lower or higher than normal pressures to bring back some grip, especially for the first run. Any advice would help. My first thought would be to raise tire pressure, but I can see lower to warm up the tires faster. So I'm asking the collective group.
