Back then, I didn't know how to drive a stick and many of you offered your words of encouragement. In exchange, you got my Chester stories =) Way back then, I shied away from changing the oil at 2000 miles and had the dealer do it. Nowadays, there's almost nothing I won't rip apart in my car. We've come a long way. So guess what I did? Something really, really stupid... http://www.pbase.com/ekosan/pimpmeout I got a house! The only problem is it's completely empty =( The foundation is there for a really nice place....three car garage with high ceilings! So, here's my shameless request for any contacts, deals, etc....hook me up! I'll probably be in touch with Steve D for some Lista cabinets soon (hopefully I won't faint). But...furniture, electronics like plasma displays, audio equipment, etc... Of course, whenever it's close to be livable, there will be the requisite house warming for all of the bimmerheads. O....I'll be in Monroe, NJ. =D Thanks a bunch! Chester

Assuming you mean the fronts, then yes, you can tell. If you pop off the plastic caps (if any) over the top of the strut tower you'll be able to see a rim of black painted metal around the circumference of the hole. Or not...Your 96 should have them, but then again the 96's are, yes, the Bastard Children, so who knows? I was not aware that the fronts had this problem as well. Thanks!
