I don't see how they could fail. They are almost as stiff as delrin. I also used the powerflex RTAB in race hardness. I have heard of the standard purple ones failing in that application. Here is a list of what I did to the back Powerflex race subframe Powerflex Race RTAB GC Adjustable control arms with poly bushing GC Upper shock mounts It made the back of the car feel much much better I was shocked how nice it feels. No more twitch rear. solid as a rock! And it rides fairly decent even with 550fr/630 rear springs. I bought all the stuff from Bimmerworld. I'm hoping someone has a set of door panels for sale in black. I have the crappy '95 panels and they're falling apart! Also, if you have a set of rings from the tweeters, I'm looking for those as well. Mine have just crumbled apart! :( Ugh! #7. tranny leak - from Gary Preece
Top
Date: Wed, 29 Nov 2006 21:23:41 -0500 From: "Gary Preece" <gary.preece@insightbb.com> Subject: tranny leak I have had my 95 M3 in the shop 4 times for a tranny leak. First, they thought it was the reverse light switch, although the fluid was coming from above it. Then some seal up on top the tranny. Then, I was driving it hard and it was coming out the overflow. But, there are some days when I drive to work at 45 mph tops and then home again and it still leaks. Now the thought is something or other clogged. It just drips a little over night and is not over full. The fluid is coming somewhere from the top it seems. It never leaked before having all the seals replaced when I also had the engine rebuilt. Now, it has leaked constantly since April. Any ideas? I am at the end of my patience. Thanks. Gary 1995 M3

#8. Virgin LTW - Part 2 - from LoweSeaton@aol.com

Date: Thu, 30 Nov 2006 03:05:52 EST From: LoweSeaton@aol.com Subject: Virgin LTW - Part 2 Remember that LTW with 157 miles owned by a California BMW dealership offered for sale on eBay a few weeks ago? I actually submitted a bid. I "just knew" the seller had some ridiculously high reserve of $80,000+. Somebody here on the list confirmed the dealership wanted $65,000. Well guess what? I turned out to be the 3rd highest bidder at $35,905! I got an e-mail from eBay this week offering me a "Second Chance" to buy it at $40,000. I guess the dealer was more interested in selling that I thought. And I learned a lesson. I almost bought a car! Good thing I didn't go crazy and bid it up any higher than I did. No - I didn't take the $40,000 "Second Chance" offer. Apparently neither did the first two bidders or I wouldn't have gotten the offer. If I had been offered $36,000, it would have been real tempting. $36k is too much for a 12 yr old car even if it is "new" but I'd be willing to pay a small premium because I like the E36 M3 so well. I just don't need another white '95 M3 in my garage at this time. I wonder if the dealer finally sold this LTW? _http://tinyurl.com/yxsr6a_ (http://tinyurl.com/yxsr6a) Lowell Seaton '95 M3 Alpine White

Then you should be able to see where it's leaking from. Right now you are just guessing. -- Jamie Howton 2006 M Roadster 2004 645Ci 1995 M3 Hampshire, IL
