Oil changed every 3-5,000 miles with Castrol GTX Tires are in good shape. A surgeon at Barnes St. Louis bought this car new. My son in law and daughter bought the car after he became to old to climb in and out of the car comfortably. Shortly after the purchase my daughter got pregnant and with the arrival of our granddaughter they are selling this car to buy a mini van. This is a very nice 328i and I hope there is someone in the club looking for a good car before they trade it in. I have posted three pictures of the car in the gallery under users gallery and Johnhof. Call me for information. The car will be in St. Louis this weekend 02/10/07. Thanks, John Hoffner 314 616-9575 This information is also posted on The St. Louis BMW Club website and pictures are in the gallery there. http://www.stlbmwcca.org/

I found them to be very expensive, so maybe having them > tested/cleaned, etc. is a better option. While I'm all for preventative maintenance, I think O2 sensors fall into the "replace when they fail" category. Seeing as how OBD-II monitors about 3 bazillion O2 sensor functions (give or take :-)), you'll know when one or more are ready to be replaced. You can clean some of the oxidation off of the tips with a wire wheel if you want. My mechanic did this when we swapped the post-cat ones L<->R in trying to diagnose an issue (cat or sensor). FWIW, both of the post-cat sensors are original (178K miles), whereas the pre-cat ones are not (~70K miles) - replaced due to CE light(s). My 2 cents, Jim Bassett

So I opened up my options to include silver and white and maybe red, but in all cases wanted the black interior. I ended up with white, which looks really nice with the black trim and interior color - I was very happy with that color. But, that said - I've owned 3 other red cars (two Camaro's one Corvette) and really love red on the right car. I think it looks great on the M3 coupe, but not quite right on the sedan. My white M3 was a sedan, and still find that to be my second favorite sedan color (behind Estoril). Not related to speeding, but pearl colors are a 3-stage paint and also require more time to color match, so technically, cars w/ pearl colors (e.g. Lexus) should cost more to insure than cars w/ flat or metallic colors.
