That's 108 minutes. Rounding up to 2 hours adds only 12 > minutes. I chose my own example to illustrate the point. As long as the customer feels he gets his money's worth then it doesn't really matter. If they don't, they find another shop. Car content: I drove my M3 to work for the first time in 2 months this week. The longest hiatus it has had. The ice on the neighborhood roads finally melted off. I missed it. Carl

Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2007 17:19:56 -0500 From: Neil Maller <neil.maller@gte.net> Subject: Hoosier Chapter's 16th Annual Rites o' Spring BMW CCA's Hoosier Chapter is now accepting student applications for our 16th Annual Rites o' Spring Driver School 14-15th April 2007 Putnam Park Road Course (near Greencastle, Indiana and a short drive from Indianapolis) We've been holding this school every year since the Putnam Park track first opened, and it traditionally marks the beginning of the track season in our area. Putnam is a fun and forgiving track, ideal for the first timer while still offering challenges to the more experienced driver. You can read more about the DS as well as download the student application form at <http://www.hoosierbmw.com/driversevent.asp>. Neil Maller Chief Instructor 05 MCS 96 M3

This is a great opportunity to get your family, friends, and co-workers a taste of this obsession we call motorsports. BMW ownership is not required and convertibles (with a couple of very minor exceptions - read the event docs) are not allowed. More event info here: <http://www.ggcbmwcca.org/index.php?module=calendar&calendar[view] =event&id=205> Online registration here: <http://ggcbmwcca.motorsportreg.com/> See you there! - Mark DEC, GGC BMW CCA ----- mark@pdc-racing.net Check out my JustRacing Home Page at: http://www.justracing.com/homepage/mdadgar

#4. subframe and diff bushings - from Mo Karamat

Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2007 17:57:50 -0500 From: Mo Karamat <karamatm@optonline.net> Subject: subframe and diff bushings Didn't someone do this recently? If you go with urethane, should you go with aluminum or stock for the diff? Any tips? Can the diff bushings be replaced without taking off the cover? Thanks. Gary ------------------------- Gary, 18V drill.. Spade Bits.. Drill bits.. Hammer.. Time... The stock bushings will eventually come out. I put the black powerflex ones in the racecar. I put a stock rubber one in the diff bushing.. I may change that now that I have a new diff. The powerflex bushings are 2 piece, and will just go in with your fingers, no press required.. Good luck Mo

Anyone can lead to me where I wire this 3.3 ohm resistor so the airbag system thinks I still have a drivers airbag and NOT trip the light. thanks Tim Ng BMWCCA # 36497 95 BUZZNM3 dakar yella 94 325i future track car 92 325ic M-Technic pkg 91 M3 garage queen 89 325ia commuter car 88 M3/2.5 DM race car ------------------ project 90 535ia ------------------ Pace shadow 26 ft enclosed trailer my web page: http://groups.msn.com/M3stuff/pictures

For the past 7 years I've been the owner, driver and primary wrench of an e36 M3 sedan that is nearing the 200k mile mark. I want to thank you all, as your contributions to this list have been very helpful getting it [and me] to this milestone. From radiator to differential, and including water pump, climate control, radio, clutch, transmission, brakes, struts and more; you have helped. 100,000 miles ago I comitted that at 200k the e36 would be reitired; and then refreshed. As this will become my new hobby, the fun has just begun. This is a happy occasion since the replacement to my wonderful e36 is an e46 of the same colors; a.k.a big brother. Therefore, I would appreciate any recommendations for an e46 M3 group similar in interest and competence to this one. Thanks again,Mark Greer _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!

E46 fanatics is an option, however, it does not have the depth, quality of contributions and is more commercially oriented. Good luck finding anything similar for the E46. This is a tough act to follow. Shel PS you're going to miss the E36 so don't sell it :) <BR><BR><BR>**************************************<BR> AOL now offers free email to everyone.
