I suppose it could also be the valve that allows air into the exhaust manifold. Not sure what, exactly, triggers that code. Test: unhook the hose from the air pump that leads to the manifold. Start up the car when cold, and see how much air it blows out. Should be a bunch. Disclaimer: I don't have the Ireland radiator, but I do have the PWR brand 57mm thick-core radiator. In either case I think the extra thickness can really only go toward the engine. In my case the engine fan hit the radiator under heavy braking at the track, destroying the fan (but luckily sparing the radiator). I installed a thinner fan from a Euro diesel model which worked fine but made a nasty GM minivan wheezing sound. I run fan-less now. My suggestion: if using a thick core radiator, pay very close attention to fan clearance. Neil Fort Wayne, IN 96 M3 - Bastard child 03 525iT - Sterling Grey Metallic 05 Mini - Cooper S with LSD

Through my reading I was to understand that if the pump has gone bad, its because the valve has already gone bad and allowed moisture into the system. Don't know if its true, but its what I gathered off of an archives search here. My old pump sounded like a howler monkey being tazered, my new (to me) pump is dead silent. #5. Can't Remove Seat - from Jonathan L.

Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2007 08:51:29 -0700 From: "Jonathan L." <twistym3@hotmail.com> Subject: Can't Remove Seat Hopefully this isn't a duplicate, but I never saw my original post come through, so here we go... I have power seats and the passenger seat has been stuck in the furthest back position for years. ha! Everything else works fine (tilt, height), but it won't go forward. Therefore, I can't get to the bolts at the rear of the rails. Aside from fixing the motor, or whatever is wrong, is there an alternate way to move the seat for access to the bolts? The "sit in the back seat and push" approach didn't have satisfactory results. ;) Any insight is appreciated, Jonathan L. _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE Web site, company branded e-mail and more from Microsoft Office Live! http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/mcrssaub0050001411mrt/direct/01/

#7. Rear camber arms for STU - from Paul Andrews

The stock arms are at max camber. So, I think I need adjustable rear lower camber arms for my 98 M3/4. They have to be STU-legal, so no hiem joints. The Ground Control ones look like the best; steel, urethane inner bushing, easy to adjust. Any others I should look at? Paul Andrews 98 M3/4 # 42 STU
