They came off of a totalled car, so there are some cosmetic issues (small gouge on the lug bolt face, spot in the clearcoat), but they're straight, round, and true and they hold air, so I'm thrilled. They also had a "like-new" wheel for $250, which is still a good price, FWIW. Mike, My best recommendation would be to take the car to a reputable cage builder, tell them what class you want to run, and let them do it right. When you get to that point, several on the list can point you in the right direction. There are a number of them around the country. Dave _____ From: Mike DePolo [mailto:smiked1@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, June 11, 2007 2:51 PM This is my long term plan for my car, after a few more years of DE. What are the options and recommendations for a cage? I've been researching, but I haven't found much info. Mike

#6. electrical problem? cylinder failures... - from Theodore Serbinski
Top
Date: Mon, 18 Jun 2007 10:57:03 -0400 From: Theodore Serbinski <stanson@gmail.com> Subject: electrical problem? cylinder failures... Hey folks, So for the past year or so, I've had an elusive electrical problem I just can't seem to figure out. Basically I'll be driving along on the highway, constant speed, around 70 or so, might hit a slight hill, feel a tug in the engine, tug a bit more, then CE light and it'll read: ignition coils 2 & 4 failure, misfires 2 & 4 Turn car off, wait a while, try again problem is gone. Drive a bit, it comes back. On and off for past year, no real indication of when, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I've replaced just about everything... ignition coils, spark plugs, etc... more details here: http://tedserbinski.com/m3/log Any thoughts? Of course I can take it to a dealer / shop soon (and I probably will) but it's been fun trying to figure it out myself, especially since I don't have to drive it a whole lot so I can let it sit for extended periods. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, thanks! ted
