Ya - I stopped by the dealer to look at a few things today and saw a 2008 535 wagon in the showroom. $62K is way too much. The A6 is in many ways a better car and is $10K less. although, the lease rates generally make the BMW more affordable if you lease it. I also noticed in the new Roundel there is a picture of a 4-door version of the M3 - they say it will be released some time in 2008. Here's to hoping.. I know we're *way* off topic here, but the A6 3.2 wagon is really underwhelming from the POV of power/driveline. Auto-only (and I *hate* Audi's current slushboxes -- my wife has an S4 Avant automatic (v8)), coupled with a 3.2l v6 that sounds like a truck motor (IMHO). It's much better looking and finished than the 5 series, but I'd wager big money that a 535ixt would be much more fun to drive. -----Original Message----- From: Scott McClung [mailto:smlists@pacbell.net] Sent: Friday, June 22, 2007 9:07 PM To: E36M3 Subject: Re: [E36M3] Re: here we go again... Scott
