I had my wife's car parked next to a 7 series and the magnum is about that big. I haven't driven a 7 ina long time but a SRT8 is pretty firm and doesn't dive too bad. It's got some pretty good grip. Probably not fast in the slalom but, that's not what I'd be getting the SRT8 for. If at some point I buy a SRT8 it leaves enough change to add all sort of stuff to my e36. I'm still a BMW man but the price for a "family sedan" BMW is getting insane. #8. Oil Light came on - from Robert Exconde

Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2007 13:08:59 -0500 From: "Robert Exconde" <99e36m3@exconde.com> Subject: Oil Light came on Well I'm still new at working at my car and cant find a good starting point. I have a 99M3 with 170K miles. Oil light is coming on and need a place to start. Oil Level is fine. I've tracked it only two times back when there were 60K miles. While it could be the oil nut that has been of recent discussion, I'm not sure if this is the cause as I believe my motor would have been blown by now, I suppose. Where are the starting points for diagnosis? I'll get those done then I'll be back for resolution, if I don't end up taking it to the shop first because I'm too worried about breaking the car. Thanks, Robert

The other options I can think of are the afforementioned oilpump nut or even the oilpump itself. Regards Jamie
