The M3 sedan is a reality; spy shots on several web sites confirm it, despite some naysayers here and there who said that not enough interest in the US would keep development from producing the car. Several web sites have shots of a very much complete looking car undergoing testing in the UK and elsewhere. I have hosted them here for thos interested: _http://gwl.rmsolo.org/M3-4-WF/_ (http://gwl.rmsolo.org/M3-4-WF/) Thanks for posting Graeme. It's a well done job and certainly one I'd love to venture into, if only I had the spare dollars. Let's face it from start to finish (including wheels and tires) this is a $6,000 job! But I have to say, Steve's car is the perfect example of what BMW should have done to the e36M3 fenders anyway. I'd love to strap in and autox her ;-)) cheers, Bob Gill 97 ///M3 coupe Philly Region SCCA 2005 / 2006 Philly Region BSP Champion Sponsored by Wheel Collision Center & Rogue Engineering ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Other than the large oil consumption, and the alternator I had to replace this morning (grrrrr!), the car is still in good shape. And currently, I like not having a car payment (for the first time in 15 years). :-) Jim Bassett 1998 M3/4 1993 325is #44 JP

Announced they were going to build it ... not for USA consumption. I am hoping the potentially significantly larger volume of a M3 sedan will bring it to the USA. And if they brought a M3 Touring ... :-) Rex

It'll most likely have a 5-7 year run, I can wait (I did with the M3, got one of the last sedans - 4/98 production, all sedans ceased in 5/98, IIRC). Jim Bassett
