They used 1/4 piece of ABS plastic to fabricate a splitter/undertray. Not very visible in the images provided but I could (or you could) get in touch with them if anyone was interested in more detail. Randy did really nice work on this car, so though the splitter was 'home brew' there was nothing 'shade tree' about this car. It's still horsey looking but I don't care about my car's looks too much, I have a mega crinkle on the RH door that I inherited from the PO and I'm gonna leave it there dammit <g>. It'll be a little more streetable than the Evo II. Now I just need that ricey wing from MAShaw to get painted for like 50 bucks so it matches the rest of the car. ;-) Carlos 98 M3

I beg to differ, I feel the stock BMW euro undertray parts is better for the euro oil cooler working properly and maximum efficiency. I fail to see how the JTD part is an improvement over the factory parts in this regard. Regards, Rich - never sees oil temps over 220 F on my M3 at the track.

I didn't think the mileage added up based on the ownership.Carfax said in 1994, Owner 1 had 5245 miles on the car over a period of 10 years, 3 months. And owner 2 had reported 5694 miles on the car for 1 year 11 months. I still have a PDF file of the old report if anyone ever needs it. It has had only 5 Inspections in its life...all in Calif: (1) Yorba Linda (2) Irvine (3) Unspecified (4) Unspecified (5) La Jolla. I don't know those cities, maybe someone else can verify if that makes sense. On a Ebay auction from Dec-05-06 17:46:07 PST his Buy-It-Now price was $42,500. The stated mileage was 6399 (it is now 7795) If you think he has some good 'stuff' now, what do you think was he inhaling then? His feedback rating was 97.7% with 83 transactions at the time of Dec 5, 06. I think that feedback rating sucks (how hard it it to be honest with only 83 transactions? If my Ebay Feedback score was that low, I would have started over and bought 83 vintage Pez Candy dispensers or something!) I've also been watching his Ebay auctions. He buys/sells BMW wheels. July 05, Sept 06. Why? The really big Ebay flag is the feedback from Oct 18, 2004. The buyer claims he won, and the seller wanted more money! But, the buyer MUST HAVE WON because he was able to leave FEEDBACK AT ALL! If he didn't win, he couldn't leave any feedback right? And the seller claims that the car isn't for sale for less than $27,000. Smells bad! And, finally why does this "pristine" car have BMW (non-M-stripe) mats? This calibre car should have come with ///M3 mats (or the owner had twelve years to pick up a set! What's up with that?) And with 6400 miles, those ///M3 mats should have looked near new. Heck, I have 3 old sets of gray ///M3 mats in my garage, and two sets of them still look pretty good! For asking $42,500...he should have found some mats first. I don't think it adds up. - Skip
