I found the spot where the battery cable runs through and poked a hole in that grommet. That there's no carpet in the car sure made it easy :-) Now if I could only solve the water leak - I think it's the water pump gasket, I'll have the car off the jack stands tomorrow. Yay!! -jeff ____________________________________________________________________________________ Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! #3. M3 alternate usage - from Goss, Patrick - PA

Date: Mon, 15 Oct 2007 11:54:08 -0500 From: "Goss, Patrick - PA" <Patrick.Goss@GMACM.COM> Subject: M3 alternate usage Many would agree the most common use of the M3 is for business= daily driver, fun= auto-cross/track/racing, etc. I discovered a recent way to utilize the M3 as a pediatric southing device. It involves an empty parking lot and a 20 mth old with the attitude of a 2.5 year old. I used to think M3 drives soothed only adults, but after recent travels I discovered I was wrong. My daughter is cutting molars to which none of us probably remember the pain, but anybody whom has (or taken care) of little ones will know it can be a difficult time for them to self sooth. Distractions are necessary and driving helps some parents. My daughter isn't quite 2 yet, but has the attitude of a terrible 2.5 at times but of course we still love her. We tried many things, but nothing works better than g-force stints in the M3. Nothing out of control, or unsafe, every precaution taken! Never since our daughter has been born have I heard her laugh so deeply, giggle so out of control, than when fastened securely in her car seat with this car in turns or accelerating hard. As a result, she's improved her vocabulary to include, whoa-daddy, again-again-again, combined with a highly devilish laugh/grin on her face. It's priceless. The other cars don't cut it, the M3 is her favorite! Just wanted to share! Thanks, Patrick 97 M3/4

You could, but I really like the Notoil stuff that came with my ITG. Cleans right up in the sink without needing to use gas or kerosene. Any motorcycle store should have it, it's the rage for dirt bike filters. The Honda brand stuff is very similar. Carl w/ many dirt bikes sharing the garage with the M3
