#2. Vanos help for imported beer :) - from Shelhart2@aol.com

Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 22:25:25 EST From: Shelhart2@aol.com Subject: Vanos help for imported beer :) So no takers here in Central Florida to help with the vanos install? Would imported beer and Disney tickets help sweeten the pot? Am I making a bigger deal than is necessary for someone to replace the vanos with the stage 2 kit? The directions seem self explanatory but, again, I don't care to learn something the "hard way". I also really want to do it myself and it isn't a matter of saving the money (even though it never hurts).. Actually, the job isn't difficult at all, but I completely understand your want for an extra set of eyes. It tends to make the first attempt at something less intimidating. -jeff *doesn't even need the Disney passes :-) ----- Original Message ---- From: "Shelhart2@aol.com" <Shelhart2@aol.com> So no takers here in Central Florida to help with the vanos install? I'm trying to think of any redeeming reason to come to NJ in November... At least it has been 75-80, crystal clear with no humidity for the past 3 days. I'm originally for Upstate NY and in no hurry to go back :0) shel ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Date: Wed, 7 Nov 2007 08:07:30 -0500 From: "Matt Bader" <mbader@exammaster.com> Subject: RE: [E36M3] Rear Interior side panel removal The Bentley is woefully inadequate when it comes to interior trim. I need to remove the front side panels myself. When I was reinstalling my headliner after removing the sunroof cassette, I was trying to figure out how to remove the B pillar panels, but Bentley had nothing. I managed to loosen them enough to get the headliner back in, but never did figure how to remove them (for fear of breaking them in some way.) I have learned not to panic, and just work the problem as they say. In my youth, I tended to cut corners with less than favorable results. I also find that after completing a job, and were I to do it over again, there are inevitably things I would have done differently. Love that sick gut feeling when you are about to fire her up, or take the car for a drive after a completing a serious operation.
