E36M3 content: I got mine as a CPO car. They told me the CPO bit added about $1000 to the price but it easily paid for itself. The included roadside service also came in handy when the water pump blew at 59,xxx miles. marty On Dec 28, 2007, at 2:21 PM, kwill69058@comcast.net wrote: > Date: Fri, 28 Dec 2007 19:12:02 +0000 > From: kwill69058@comcast.net > Subject: RE: [E36M3] Re: 135 pricing on BMWUSA.com > > Hi, > > The trick is to get it while there is still about a year left on the > warranty (if it transfers to other owners) as to avoid having to pay > to fix anything. Come join me in the 21st century, and buy an Amsoil microfiber one. I'm not an advocate for Amsoil, but I love the filter. On my 325is I used an EaAU-3050. On an M3 you would use an EaAU-3560. What you do get is a lot of performance with reasonable fuel economy, something that is only partially offset by the higher price for the diesel. Presumably, as clean diesels become more common, maybe we'd see a better comparative price on diesel v. gasoline. -----Original Message----- From: DocWyte [mailto:docwyte@comcast.net] Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 7:02 PM To: E36M3 Subject: Re: [E36M3] Re: 135 pricing on BMWUSA.com Date: Fri, 28 Dec 2007 16:58:57 -0700 From: DocWyte <docwyte@comcast.net> Subject: Re: [E36M3] Re: 135 pricing on BMWUSA.com Diesel out here in CO is about the same amount as super unleaded.
