I just took this off of my July '95 with the stock stereo. It was mounted in the passenger side of the trunk. This does not look like the later Alpine changer. Maybe Pioneer made this for BMW? Works great. Anyone interested? Actual shipping costs UPS/Fedex insured. Jonathan

It is accessible from under the car, but you need to fab up a long straw to shoot a good lubricant up into it. Many people recommend Tri-Flow brand lube. I need to track some of that down somewhere locally and finally do this same thing. Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2008 15:08:37 -0800 (PST) From: L R <lhrc51@yahoo.com> Subject: License Plate Holder I'm looking for what BMW calls a "License Plate Holder Front Bumper Filler Center" for a '95 M3. I looked everywhere on realoem.com & I couldn't find it. I did the same on pelican parts online & nothing. I called them directly & they couldn't find it either (they say that BMW doesn't list it). Anybody know the part # for this? The regular E36 uses a different part, I know because I have it & it's slightly different. Don't know if it'll be the same for your '95, but for my '98 I used part number: 51 11 2 265 636 Item #3 here: <http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BF93&mospid=47486&btnr=51_2758&hg=51&fg=15> It's the one with "BMW" embossed on it, basically the same one used for no front plate. It does have locators on the backside for the screws for the plate. The plate just attaches to the trim piece. Hope that helps, Jim Bassett
